they build the rear sections in XFW so it being there is no surprise, it being in the paint shop is unusual especially as it was not being painted. I can only assume that the green primer coat had become damaged and it was being repaired

Both MSN187EK65 and MSN186EK64 seem to be more in a hurry than MSN184EK63, would any of those be delivered before MSN184?........

Don't get me started about windows again ! I still think they are not needed, just screens in place of the windows showing the outside ! It would save so much weight and simplify construction and costs  You can't open them or get out thru them ! Passengers are quite happy looking at screens in the seat backs all flight ! |

a380.boards.net/post/55530/thread I don't really understand why MSN204EK is still outside, that would probably mean that the next frame in line to roll out, MSN200, is still in an OF bay and hasn't reached the Paint Shop yet.... A little late I think comparing to other frames but this is another HoV and perhaps little activity reduced during Summer?.... Should still though be on time for a November delivery ...

for completeness the following were seen on the 14th August
188 A380 F-WWAK UAE fcs outside
189 A380 F-WWAO QTR fcs outside but no activity round it
190 A380 F-WWAR UAE Apparently in H212 but not seen
191 A380 F-WWSA ETD Primer on the delivery bay with systems running but a paint bay open and empty
192 A380 F-WWAE BAW Primer H242 in Primer
200 A380 F-WWSV UAE H241 Painted
201 A380 F-WWAN UAE primer H244 in Primer
202 A380 F-WWAQ UAE Not Seen
203 A380 F-WWAP UAE H243 in Primer
204 A380 F-WWAQ UAE Not Seen
and two fuselage sections on the dock waiting for transport, one could not be read off and the other was MSN199
finally there was an EK tail waiting to be flown to TLS

Thanks for your reports UK380!  In the MSN200's thread you posted it was painted in H241? also In the MSN192's thread you posted it was in H242? also In the MSN203's thread you posted it was in H243? |

sorry it was a long day and this was my last post of the night ...... all corrected now the postings on the frame threads were correct according to my notes, my posting in this thread contained the (now corrected) errors
