Would be good to see some roll outs at XFW soon, MSN201EK is already at 17 weeks since arrival, last time we reached these numbers for EK frames it was at last year's end-of-year-rush.... MSN192 is already at 16 weeks, I don't really understand as MSN151BA holds the overall-record of 9 weeks for roll out, and the next 3 frames for BA right after MSN151 took almost the double (MSN161 18 weeks, MSN163 16 weeks, MSN171 17 weeks....)

The situation certainly raises a lot of questions.
Part of the answer may be that Airbus so far is a bit slow with EK's new two-class configuration, but this is far from a full explanation.
I suspect Airbus is in no rush as long as agreed delivery dates are met. The management may have reduced staffing or working hours at the XFW factory. I would like to know more from insiders ...

Many thanks for your report UK380!! I would think MSN200 and MSN191 are either in the FL hangars either in the extra-bays, MSN202 might be ready to roll out (tomorrow or next week?...) same either in a FL hangar or extra-bay? MSN203 might be in one of the Paint Bays?... Good that MSN204 is already painted!

Do we have an idea why is 205 slower than 204 ? We do not know that MSN205 is slower than MSN204, the known difference is unpainted painted, very normal in regards to their 27 days difference in the date of transfer to XFW.

Indeed, painting can happen before or after (or somehow during close to the OF-end) outfitting, there has been many instances While MSN204 was painted MSN205 was doing OF..
