Completely forget - BO is mainly and at first financial SHARK - they are not looking to give something - they are looking only for their own profit. They will not do such a thing. They would do something like that only if there is in near future sure gain. Just look at the history of all their past acquisitions !!! E-jets are an excellent range of products, including a fully developped modernised family. They have excellent sales prospects, which would bring a good return on Boeing's investment. That's so obvious I didn't think it was worth saying. Right - and than why would you want to sell it for pennies to a SHARK ? Once more the history is very educating. Look at the history of BO acquisitions ........ and there was not only one which went the same road !

With CS already in the hands of Airbus, It looks like Boeing can't wait to get E2 in their lineup.

The main question, and the only possible show stopper, has been whether the Brazilian government would accept to sell its crown jewels to a foreign group. As soon as it agrees, the deal is done.
