bla bla bla that article. Talking about the age of the fleet and than about replacing the comparable young A380 with A350-1000 or 777-9. That article is about the speculation of a rating agency.

What this story basically says is that QF is reluctant to make any serious investment, and will delay replacements as long as possible.

I would think ordering B787-10 to replace B772 would be much better for fleet management for Air New Zealand. Similar capacity as well.

Airbus A350-900 will be a good fit for replacing 777-200 and she will look good in ANZ colours.
