A6-EDQ is the first EK frame to have the permanent wing fix applied. It is in Beijing now, where the work is being done.

A6-EDQ returned from Beijing on July 26th. Looks like wings are fixed.

Do I read that as: 3 months for the permanent wing fix?

Do I read that as: 3 months for the permanent wing fix? I seems to me that the repairs took a little more than two months (from May 18th to the end of July).

OK, let's split the difference: 2 1/2 months Still, quite a long time out of service. And it has to be multiplied by 35 (aircraft in service).
