Moving this thread to Delta sub-board. Handover date to Delta is July 15 per FAA registry. hmm, should we really start moving them? I remember moving the South Africa leased frame and I regret doing that. Harder to keep track. I don't mind the extra work, if the majority agree I think we should. This case is different than the SAA case in that DL bought most of the LATAM frames off, and others leased from Aercap. So this will likely be a permanent change rather than some temporary CMI lease arrangements. Also think of someone new to the forum, if they want to post something about this specific frame, since this aircraft will have been painted in DL colors and fly DL flights, they would intuitively go to DL sub board to look for the history of this frame instead of the LATAM board. But yeah I think it'd be good to listen to other peoples idea as well.

I don't mind the extra work, if the majority agree My first thought are, why not leave all the 7 pages of history of this frame in the LATAM thread, then add a final post saying - Sold to Delta Airlines xx/xx/2021 etc Then close the LATAM thread for this frame to new posts. And then start a new thread under Delta Airlines with a post saying - Bought by Delta Airlines from LATAM xx/xx/2021 and carry on there ? Oh please no. It'd be a disaster if an aircraft is transferred over for multiple times between different airlines. We didn't do this for the HiFly A380 either.

What ever approach the Moderators / Admins decide I am happy with, you guys put in the hard work (which we all appreciate and don't tell you often enough) and you have the insight into how the board works / looks. So many thanks again for your time and hard work.
