Question, why is a Peach delivery on an Airbus flight number? Because Peach wants the aircraft delivered on their doorstep Since msn 8396 (JA821P) Airbus flies them via Dubai and U-Tapao to Kansai were they are handed over to the airline. It is possible it was done before but there are no historic F-registrations to confirm that.

mjoelnir peter your posts moved to here. I think I heard somewhere (maybe aNet?) that some works need to be done at UTP before the airline takes delivery? It kinda makes sense cause UTP is a de-tour to Japan. But it also could be they didn't get China airspace clearance.
