I think lately Guillaume Faure just smashed down the rumors of a possible stretch.

Airbus wants 10 abreast a350 not only for leisure markets: A350-1000 with 10 abreast will be direct competitor for 777-9X:

Production of A350s to remain at 10 per month for a while ! Ten per month is a very high rate for a widebody, only the 787 is produced at a higher pace. Obviously, A350 demand doesn't warrant a higher pace of production. I hope Airbus can keep the 10 per month rate for a few more years ... I don't believe the 787 rate (recently upped to 14 per month from the previous 12 per month) is sustainable. I think Boeing will soon (two years ?) have to slow down production.

Hi guys,
What is the difference between a350 -941 vs -942. Does the -942 have the same Engines as -941 or ? If not what is the type that sits on -942.
Trent XWB -84 on -941 ? on -942.
Regards,
SAS380
