There exist no -942 in the type certificates. Even a derated XWB -75 is a -941.

Usually, yes it is. Last number indicates engine version which are likely in most cases are just derates.

Airbus might expect new orders from the U.S. majors for the A321XLR; a new order by Saudi Arabian Airlines for both A350s (to replace the Boeing 777-200ERs) and A320neos/A321neos; and a potential large order from IndiGo for the XLR to take advantage of the vacuum left by Jet Airways.
