This is interesting, now i am intrigued about how one totally powers down and aircraft. disconnect the battery leads? just shut it down without running the APU or connecting an external power source?

Just to clarify, the AD is 2 years old and the new revision terminates the necessary reboot. Up to now the A350 has to be rebooted every 149h even with a new software version. The new AD revision exclude now these ACs. ad.easa.europa.eu/blob/EASA_AD_2017_0129_R1.pdf/AD_2017-0129R1_1So the correct headline would be „airlines do not have to reboot their a350 planes after every 149 hours anymore“.
