The aircraft Macheras is talking about must indeed be Airbus' Project Sunrise offering. I don't know whether Airbus is actually winning that contest, but all recent information strongly suggests it, particularly Boeing's representatives talking of a possible 778 postponement.

Could it be unidentified customer for 1 a350-1000? I can't for even a moment believe that it was bought by "accident". It would take an extraordinary level of incompetence by not just the customer, but also Airbus's sales unit for such a transaction of such a monumental monetary value to happen, and also considering all the legal paperwork that has to be filled and signed etc. Sorry, not buying the story...
