Seems to be a hoax, there was never an A280. Airbus was authorized to offer the A350 in December 2004. It was based on the A330 with light weight materials. Note that is was NOT the XWB at that point. A350 was changed to A350XWB on July 17, 2006 (and that's all that is correct above…)
