I think this is a very strange way to introduce a new aircraft version. Sort of shy and through the backdoor. You have a big airshow and this is all? Updating the website with specs? What happened to Airbus? Work from home?

What were you expecting on a freighter aircraft that 98% of the worlds population will never get on...A firework display? 😅 For all we know they had a talk about it during the initial ALC order.

Maybe Airbus will go an other way as in the past. For me it's good that ALC ordered the plane, some weeks ago John Lueger told "aeroTelegraph following: "it remains to be seen "how many orders they can get". Freighters are so far not Airbus' strength. Therefore, the aircraft manufacturer will "have to prove the capabilities of an A350 freighter to many customers in comparison to, for example, a converted Boeing 777-300" www.aerotelegraph.com/warum-airbus-ein-geheimnis-um-die-a350-f-kunden-machtSo the plane should be not to bad and need not to many "Firework"

I suspect this sort of only half hearted public approach has to do with the fact that the A350F is mainly meant to be attacking the likely upcoming 777F launch. Suddenly launching some competitor means the other guy has to recalculate specs and pricing. Sort of sweet revenge for the 787 launch after Airbus was finally A380 committed?

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with Airbus for seven A350F freighter aircraft. The agreement will see the A350F begin replacing the airline's existing B747-400F fleet in the fourth quarter of 2025. Great news, maybe more A350-User are jumping on the A350F. I saw the information that Lufthansa is also talking with Airbus about the A350F. www.finanzen.ch/nachrichten/aktien/lufthansa-aktie-schwachelt-interesse-an-airbus-a350f-lufthansa-cargo-will-frachterflotte-ausbauen-1031039574It is also considering the new Airbus A350F large-capacity freighter, which the manufacturer plans to complete by the middle of the decade. Lufthansa will talk to Airbus about the advantages of the A350 freighter in operation and how many cost advantages the overall package will bring.
