No doubt BBD would like to deliver the aircraft in early 2016, but in order to do that they must have a customer accepting the timeline. As to why would Swiss not accept to move deliveries up, I don't know. Maybe there is still some haggling going on, with Swiss demanding a larger launch operator discount. And this makes perfect sense. Specifically for the Swiss To be first operator of a brand new plane costs money, and the first planes are inferior to the later ones and I would believe that for instance QR got their first A359 for "almost" free.

Where? The thrust is the same as PW1524G under 0,1 Mach. But around sea level, that´s over 65 knots. And CSeries unsticks under 100 knots, as proven in the unstick tests...

There was today published a long interview with representative of the owner of Aero Vodochody (OK in Czech only ) ekonomika.idnes.cz/aero-vodochody-predstavi-letos-novy-letoun-fzc-/ekonomika.aspx?c=A150811_164038_ekonomika_chrsThey are making almost complete wings for CS series and he said they are working already on "several" sets for production next year. Up to that there are other interesting things: -The completion and production of the Embraer SPARTAN is postponed but will be completed and they still continue on it. -They are working on Albatros L39NG because the current owners of L39 asked them to (there are still hundreds of those flying) and he believes they can sell "a lot of pcs". It is going to be significant upgrade with completely different avionics, cockpit, engines and refined aerodynamic. -The state of the production of Sikorsky helicopters (after the takeover) - especially the civil is unknown. AERO Vodochody produced about half of the fuselages Sikorski made and he confirms no new orders as of yet -and he believes that the production of CS wings and parts of A321 fuselages (via Alenia) will cover their production capacity.
