According to my understanding BA last year announced 3 more 777-300ER at the farnborough air and are due to be delivered in 2020. However these 3 777s will be leased arranged but Novus Capital mention 4 777s in the press release. In theory we don't know but seeing they mentioned a European airline; who knows these could go to Swiss, BA or Air France? (I can confirm another lessor has 3 777-300ER ordered and are due to be delivered in 2020) AF is a good shout to replace the departing 3 A380 ?

www.novus.aero/news/182 Novus Aviation Capital (UAE) has secured a limited recourse facility of US$423 million with BNP Paribas (France) and MUFG Bank (Japan) to finance its US$1.4 billion order of four B777-300ERs. Scheduled for delivery in 2020, the four aircraft will be leased to a leading European carrier once operational. That's a high price for 4 B777-300ERs ! I would think you could get at least 6 or even 8 for that price ? I guess they are quoting the list price total of $1.4 billion ? Are these the 4 for BA ? a380.boards.net/post/126222

10 production slots for 777-300(ER) remaining until 777X production will start I understand that according to Chris Seymour, head of market analysis at Ascend, there are 10 open 77W production slots. Boeing has a backlog of 77W and 777F orders that will be depleted at some point in 2020. If Seymour is right, then Boeing needs 10 additional sales, but that depends on the early pace of the 777X programme through the development effort and the certification tests.

Can’t these also be for 77F?

Surely that piece was written before the latest door incident during the test, like any new aircraft 777X is facing further delay. The gap would definitely bigger than 10 - they won’t start to mass produce 777X before certificate been properly done, at this point nobody knows how many times of 10 frames they have to fill in the gap. Boeing’s short and medium term finance doesn’t look good at all.
