Well, to get back to topic here: Skymark has released Vol. 5 of their "A380 in the making" series, including some photos from Airbus: www.skymark.co.jp/ja/information/a380.htmlHere's my take on a translation (no garantee, my Japanese is rudimentary at best): Vol. 5 Skymark's first extra-large plane A380 in the making!! Final assembly in Toulouse, France completed Heading towards Germany, the first TAKE OFF!  Finally the first engine run ("engine debut"...? not sure what they mean here, since the engines are covered in this picture)  Showing up on the runway  And take off!!  To Hamburg, Germany for cabin outfitting and painting (and so on) First engine run, preparation for first flight 2/4/2014: Roll-out of FAL for station 18: Preparation for First Flight |
