I apologize as this is not related to the 320 NEO.
Spirit is acquiring 2 A319s from another carrier, does anyone know where I can go to try to figure out where these two aircraft are coming from - which airline or leasing company?
Thanks - they will be N535NK and N536NK
I believe Spirit has deferred all further deliveries of NEOs after 905NK as a result of the mechanical issues with 901NK.

I also feel the "Airbus A320 Family" category is more and more inundated by all the neos thread per different airlines, should/could we create a different category "Airbus A320neo"?.... Leaving then 2, 'Airbus A320ceo' and 'Airbus A320neo'?..

Leaving then 2, 'Airbus A320ceo' and 'Airbus A320neo'?.. General threads should be reserved for general issues. Now that A320neo production is well under way, there is in my opinion no point in having different threads for -neo and -ceo. A 'X ... airline A320 (-ceo and -'neo)' thread could provide all information about all versions. We would only have to make it clear, in our posts, which sub-type each new MSN is. We also need to end specific sharklet-related threads, which are increasingly irrelevant. I suggest to make the changes at new year.

N901NK had an engine replaced, not sure about the issue. I believe Spirit has deferred all further deliveries of NEOs after 905NK as a result of the mechanical issues with 901NK. Do you have more info on this?

901 suffered a wiped #3 and #4 bearing on the #2 engine with significant metal shavings contained in the engine oil and had damage to the prop fan. So the engine was replaced and repairs done to the right engine pylon. The aircraft was out of service for approximately 2 weeks while replacing the engine since the supply of available engines is extremely limited. N901NK had an engine replaced, not sure about the issue. I believe Spirit has deferred all further deliveries of NEOs after 905NK as a result of the mechanical issues with 901NK. Do you have more info on this? Around the time Spirit was taking delivery of 671, (901 was already out of service for a week), the scuttlebutt going around the pilot group is that Spirit stopped taking delivery of all NEOs. I had assumed we would not be taking delivery of 904 and 905, so I was surprised to see delivery preparations done for 904/905.

Thanks nkpilotSounds like significant damage. I wonder if such failures also happen on other engines, or would this be a GTF design issue?
