I think we should let ghorn continue with is great statistics, the way he wants, instead of trying to kill this thread by a discussion on semantics......

Someone, there was no doubt about it. I do not believe it to be wrong to discuss about the results of his good work.....

Preview of 2015 - Widebody Deliveries and Orders
Some things I'll be looking for in 2015.
Another record year for deliveries with Airbus and Boeing both setting record totals.
The 787 to break its own model record with 125+ in the year.
The A350 production line to get moving and deliveries to reach 20+
I expect Boeing to have the edge in orders as they have better availability.
Expect a big push for sales of current 777 and A330 models as Boeing and Airbus attempt to keep production cuts to a minimum. The United order for the 777 may set the tone for the year.
Lack of availability will probably restrict A350 sales but with its orderbook reducing the 787 should have a good year.
Hopefully some new A330neo orders to come but 777X may have a quiet year.
Would love to see at least 30 airline orders for the A380 including a couple of new customers. I don't expect Amedeo to solve the problem of a lack of new customers.
Crunch time for the 747.
A350-800 orderbook to be cleared by conversion and/or cancellation.
Hopefully Boeing will drop the 777X designation and formalise the new model names.
Wow and I was thinking it would be a quiet year !! May not be many big orders but it will still be a key year for the industry.

Good points. I have a couple more: - Do you not expect A380neo launch + orders? - EK medium-haul RFP decision, A350 vs. B787. The 787 to break its own model record with 125+ in the year. How do you see this? At 10/mo, they should be doing no more than 120 deliveries in the year?

Don't forget the early teens Thought about that, yes. But do we know how many of the 787s in storage earmarked for customers are to be shipped out this year?

Good points. I have a couple more: - Do you not expect A380neo launch + orders? - EK medium-haul RFP decision, A350 vs. B787. You're right whatever Emirates does will make a huge difference. Has the medium-haul RFP been issued ? Think A380neo launch will be later than 2015. The 787 to break its own model record with 125+ in the year. How do you see this? At 10/mo, they should be doing no more than 120 deliveries in the year? As addasih says they have a lot of completed frames not delivered, or sold in some cases. Geoff

I will pay attention to 777X sales. The market size for that aircraft is still very difficult to assess, and 2015 orders might provide a clue.

The A350 production line to get moving and deliveries to reach 20+ I think you're a little to optimistic here. From my understanding it will be around 15, and not beyond 20 in 2015
