The 777 production rate cut is already noticeable. Yes, indeed but the A330 rate increase is slow to feed through. Really a bit early in the year to spot trends. We don't need to spot a trend, Boeing announced a production cut so it's obvious that we are seeing lower deliveries (7 per month in H1 and 5.5 per month in H2). A330 is a different story because unlike Boeing, Airbus production is not streamlined across the entire year. As usual, we should see an A330 delivery push in the second half of the year. Boeing production rate changes are effective immediately.

Updated figures for first quarter , end March, now added to the sheet. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LK3NGr1kFwYC9bk8u52J3X28fTAr3kPttsktJYHt2U8/edit?pli=1#gid=0A surge of 777-300ER deliveries, 13 for the month. Also an undisclosed order for 8 777-300ER makes it another strong month for Boeing. Airbus deliveries picking up but still very quiet for orders. Year to date deliveries for passenger widebodies ( March in brackets ). 787-9. 24(7) 777-300ER. 20(13) A350-900. 13(7) 787-8. 8(4) A330-300. 8(4) A380-800. 3(2) A330-200. 3(2) 747-8. 0(0) Geoff

Boeing's delayed 'weekly' update includes orders for no less than 76 widebodies. That's the Paris announcements plus the firming of the SQ commitments ( shown as unidentified ).
52 787s plus 24 777s , of which 20 are for the 777X. Wow !

Year to date deliveries for passenger widebodies ( month of July in brackets ). 787-9. 60 (11) 777-300ER. 46 (5) A350-900. 36 (6) Still some way to go before the A350-900 takes second place. On a yearly basis, you are right. On a monthly basis, it's done.

Updated Airbus and Boeing figures for end August now added to the tables in the linked sheet. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LK3NGr1kFwYC9bk8u52J3X28fTAr3kPttsktJYHt2U8/edit?pli=1#gid=0Year to date deliveries for passenger widebodies ( month of August in brackets ). 787-9. 68(8) 777-300ER. 51(5) A350-900. 43(7) A330-300. 26(3) 787-8. 21(3) A330-200. 10(0) A380-800. 8(1) 747-8. 3(0) A350-900 closing in on second place. Quieter year for the A330 models than I'd expected. Geoff
