June totals from Airbus and Boeing now included ; docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LK3NGr1kFwYC9bk8u52J3X28fTAr3kPttsktJYHt2U8/edit?pli=1Deliveries for half year (June totals in brackets ) - passenger models only A big month for Boeing widebody deliveries with a record 19 787s. Another good month for Airbus with 16 passenger widebody deliveries. Boeing extended its lead for year to date deliveries to 88 against 72. Boeing on track for an annual total of more than 170. Airbus will need to increase deliveries in the second half of the year if they are to get to 160, which would be their best ever year. 787-9 61(15) A350-900 45(9) 787-10. 16(4) A330-900. 13(5) 777-300ER. 10(3) A350-1000. 8(1) A380-800. 4(1) A330-300. 2(1) 787-8. 1(0) In addition Airbus has delivered 2 A330-200 for conversion to MRTT and Boeing has delivered 24 widebody freighters : 4x747, 8x767, 12x777 and 14x767s for conversion to military variant. Predictably there is little sign of any of the Paris Airshow widebody business reaching the orderbooks of either Airbus or Boeing. Geoff

A good month for Airbus with 14 passenger widebody deliveries during the Summer holiday. 787-9 70(9) A350-900 49(4) 787-10. 17(1) A330-900. 17(4) A350-1000. 11(3) 777-300ER. 10(0) A380-800. 5(1) A330-300. 3(1) 787-8. 3(2) A330-200. 1(1) In addition Airbus has delivered 3 A330-200 for conversion to MRTT and Boeing, at the end of June, had delivered 24 widebody freighters : 4x747, 8x767, 12x777 and 14x767s for conversion to the military version. July totals from Airbus and Boeing now included. No changes to the preliminary Boeing delivery figures I posted last week. Airbus slightly narrows the gap to Boeing for year to date PASSENGER WIDEBODIES with 86 to 100. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LK3NGr1kFwYC9bk8u52J3X28fTAr3kPttsktJYHt2U8/edit?pli=1Deliveries to end of July ( month of July totals in brackets ) - passenger models only. A good month for Airbus with 14 passenger widebody deliveries during the Summer holiday. 787-9 70(9) A350-900 49(4) 787-10. 17(1) A330-900. 17(4) A350-1000. 11(3) 777-300ER. 10(0) A380-800. 5(1) A330-300. 3(1) 787-8. 3(2) A330-200. 1(1) In addition Airbus has delivered 3 A330-200 for conversion to MRTT and Boeing has delivered 28 widebody freighters : 4x747, 10x767, 14x777 and 15x767s for conversion to the military version. Note that the 787-9 at 825 is now just 19 behind the 777-300ER for total sales. It will surely take over top place soon unless it goes the same way as the 787-8 and gets cannibalised by its larger sibling Geoff

Boeing’s current figures for unfilled orders are ; 787-8. 81 787-9. 353 787-10. 157 www.boeing.com/commercial/#/orders-deliveriesLooking at total sales ( unfilled orders plus deliveries ) the 787-9 is on 829 , the 777-300ER is on 844. I expect the 787-9 to go way past the 777-300ER and probably exceed 1000. The only thing that can stop it is large scale conversions to the 787-10. Geoff

I expect the 787-9 to go way past the 777-300ER and probably exceed 1000. The only thing that can stop it is large scale conversions to the 787-10. That isn't going to happen. The 789 has a much wider potential market than the 787J.
