2021 would be more close competition between Airbus and Boeing. According to this article aviationweek.com/aerospace/manufacturing-supply-chain/airbus-boeing-plans-bring-2021-deliveries-line-2019-levels, Airbus is planning 95 wide-body passenger jet delivery, and Boeing is aiming at 91. Airbus: 4 A338, 20 A339, 55 A359, 11 A35K, 5 A388(now we know EK will postpone 3 to 2022), which make it 92. Boeing: 10 77W, 13 B788, 47 B789, 21 B781, 91 in total.

Those targets for 2021 would be below what both delivered ten years ago. They may well be realistic but they represent a very slow recovery. Geoff

The A330 delivered in November was a -900. Only one -300 this year, back in February. In 2011 Airbus delivered 87 A330s and 26 A380s, those were the days. Boeing delivered 73 777s, 20 767s, 9 747s and 3 787s. Was that really only 10 years ago !! Geoff
