I think it's not French but some language spoken in quebec Do they speak with such a weird accent?

Different accent, different pronounciations, some expressions/words from 1845 and some others that do not make French sense at all.. lol Fabien

Do they speak with such a weird accent? LOL, I too find Quebec French annoyingly different to what I learned at school (apologies to addasih if you're reading this ). It can be hard to make sense of some of the words, phrases and sentence structures. I mean if I used those at my regular French exams, I'd lose points! As for the accent and pronunciations, I would say it's a bit like comparing American and British styles, at least to my ears, lol.

Just that they have the austrian-german accent also inside Germany. It is a bit strange to call German ONE language.

Germans must say the exact same about austrian-german accent! One of my cousins in Germany also said the same thing about the Swiss-German accent when we were in Zurich. It was a bit hard for him to follow what they were saying sometimes.

Just that they have the austrian-german accent also inside Germany. It is a bit strange to call German ONE language. Right! Yellow = North Bavarian Dialect Violet = Middle- or Danube Bavarian Dialect Blue = South Bavarian Dialect
