Randy might want to hold off that "70's plane" nonsense for an argument. After all, he still continues to sell the 737 dinosaur. Not to mention the 1960 747.

This is in reference to this post by Jkkw. It's quite early and I think the final rendering of how it will eventually look like is still being worked out. So, like the early A350XWB renderings, we are going to see several iterations as we go on. But for starters, here are two pictures to compare the current A330 with the new neo. The most obvious differences are the wingtips and the larger size of the engines. Also note the reduced size of the flap track fairings on the neo - an aerodynamics tweak. Does anyone see anything else? We'll see if the black cockpit window frame sticks in future renderings. I don't mind it.

Most probably on lease as the article says. Lots of lessors have signed up for the A330neos. Now they will be looking for placements and here's a good opportunity. Edit: Marking this post as my 2000th.
