A 50% discount is not unusual for large widebody orders.

This chart is an analyst's estimate of the numbers behind DL' Airbus order. It is quite interesting as such, but it is not a statement of facts, and the discounts might be the softest number in the data sheet.

And the author is ? Aboulafia or Boeing ? autor is Vinay Bhaskara from airwaysnews.com author of article "UPDATED ANALYSIS: Delta Order for A350; A330neo Hinged on Pricing, Availability". Second interesting chart from this article (http://airwaysnews.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Slide1.jpg) shows discounted list price for a330-900 neo vs 787-9

The analysis is fine but makes the classic mistake of comparing list prices on a 1:1 basis. The Boeing list price is for a basic airframe while Airbus list price is for a complete airframe.

I have to change my opinion after reading the whole article....
Surprising is the size of discount. What would than be the discount for EK or AirAsia
