AWAS to switch A350-800s to -900s. Airbus and its customers quietly move away from the -800. HA is still sticking with it for the moment ... Are they waiting for a decision on an A330 NEO ?

Yes HA is a tough one to crack. I'm not sure if the A330neo would have enough range to replace their planned -800 missions.

Come on Hawaii! You can do it too! Make the upgrade. Other than for the extra seats, is there any way the -900 is at a disadvantage against the -800?
