I believe there's only 26 units outstanding now among the three others. 8 for Aeroflot and 8 for Asiana makes 16. To make it 26 you have to count the Yemenia order, but I wonder why Airbus ever recorded this. Currently they operate two A320's and two A330's. To "complete" their fleet, there's also three old A310's of which one has not flown for a long time. It makes me wonder what they would be replacing with ten A350's.....

Because they signed the contract and agreed to pay deposits. This way, an aircraft manufacturer locks in the customer.

Turkish Airlines to convert its 4 A320NEO's to A321NEO's and to convert 8 options to 8 additional A321NEO according to Reuters: mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN0K11A420141223?irpc=932 Flag carrier Turkish Airlines said on Tuesday it decided to exercise options for eight Airbus A321-200 NEO aircraft for delivery in 2019.
It will also convert four firm orders of Airbus A320-200 NEO aircraft to be delivered in 2016 to four A321-200 NEO aircraft to be delivered in 2021, it said in a statement to the Istanbul stock exchange. Looks like you've "coded" instead of "quoting".
