This I do not understand. The bird just arrived from TLS after test flights there. What could have been done in one day in TLS to need Engine Test Run ?

That is usually the case though.. It would probably be the case at XFW as well but for some reasons these ERs and RTOs are not displayed on fr24 for HFW....

I read somewhere on the forum that in case of leased engines, they would be installed almost last minute so that invoicing does not start too early. So your guess peter might be the right one.

But could they replace the engines in ONE day ?
Up to that looking at the photos the engines were already painted in BA colors.
This plane was there idle only one day It seems not the case.

It takes some 12 hours to replace an engine. I have no idea if they replace all four engines at the same time.

Up to that looking at the photos the engines were already painted in BA colors. It is the engine casing wich is painted in the airline colors. So you can replace the engine without changing the casing.
