MSN 8 was originally allocated to SQ and was later swapped to QR. Due to the long lead time of cabin parts, MSN 8 was pushed behind MSN 9 and 10.

anyone knows if this going to be the next frame delivered? how did it overcome MSN 8? Msn008 was slated to be for Singapore Airlines for a long time. Even the wingtips/winglets/sharklets or whatever you want to call it, where painted in the dark blue SQ colours.... Seems SQ then decided they only wanted aircraft from batch #3 (no rework needed). I suppose that meant some extra rework for Airbus to get it ready for QR, hence 009 and 010 will be delivered before 008.... EDIT: Looks like XWB and me are mentally connected in some way but he's just a little faster

Thank you, XWB and Peter, I remembered that we had a lot of questions about MSN 8's delay, I did not know we learned the cause was the swap from SQ to QR.

Did MSN9 roll-out last month (or was it just coming out of paint)? Sorry for my confusion! :-)

The above data is incorrect, apparently MSN9 was rolled out to the flight line last Friday. Sorry for the confusion.

The definition of "roll-out" state on A359 seems to be a confusing as of now.
