OK - so the state of "inside" is irrelevant ? We have in A380: TLS-type - roll-out - as you defined XFW-type - roll-out - the cabin is complete i.e. with the A350 - both steps are made in TLS so only A380-TLS-type roll-out is considered....

I would assume we would assume an A350-roll out would be with engines, painted and cabin completed, all ready to fly.... MSN9 should now be finished with all of this, hence a roll out?....

OK - so the state of "inside" is irrelevant ? It would not go to the flight line if the cabin was not complete .. MSN9 is now being prepared for its first flight.

You said that: Business class and cockpit seats are installed after paint.
How could we know that all the inside is in the plane ?
OK you have your inside sources (great !), but just observing photos of various spotters there is no way to know ? That was what I meant by my statement
definition of "roll-out" state on A359 seems to be a confusing
I would say we should shorten a bit Fabien's definition:
A350-roll out would be with engines, painted and cabin completed, all ready to fly....
Since this can be observed - the state of the cabin hardly. Also I do believe that the procedures on the finishing steps will change with time and maturing of the processes.

Though, same is happening at XFW, frames are rolled out on the FL, but some of them disappear for some while in FL hangars or even OF ones maybe? -thereafter...... we couldn't be sure of what is exactly inside of the frame or what they're doing inside while re-baying...... I guess one can only assume guess that inside is more or less finished (unless thankfully provided by source) and that the frame is ready to test-fly.....

But why Is she due to delivery in june when she is already on the flightline and will be prepared for first flight? One major question is at what stage whatever rework was/is needed was/is performed. Is the plane ready or has she still to undergo some significant rework ? I remember that for a long time 787s used to roll out with some 6000 tasks still to be performed inside the Everett completion center. The extent of the A350's issues are much smaller, but we must not forget them. I would not expect Airbus to clarify this topic since they probably don't like to talk about rework. My hunch is that for now A350s still need much more time from roll-out to first flight than the four to six weeks we would have for an A380.

"But why Is she due to delivery in june when she is already on the flightline and will be prepared for first flight?" Paris Air Show! Maybe another order by AAB to be announced there?
