Hoping for the best From Malaysian Airline's facebook " MH370 Incident Media Statement Released At 7.24am/8 Mar 2014 MY Local Time Sepang, 8 March 2014: Malaysia Airlines confirms that flight MH370 has lost contact with Subang Air Traffic Control at 2.40am, today (8 March 2014). Flight MH370, operated on the B777-200 aircraft, departed Kuala Lumpur at 12.41am on 8 March 2014. MH370 was expected to land in Beijing at 6.30am the same day. The flight was carrying a total number of 227 passengers (including 2 infants), 12 crew members. Malaysia Airlines is currently working with the authorities who have activated their Search and Rescue team to locate the aircraft. The airline will provide regular updates on the situation. Meanwhile, the public may contact +603 7884 1234 for further info." The last recorded location is in the middle of sea... So we could only pray... Hmm

Unfortunately according to AVHERALD they crashed into the sea 153NM south of Phu Quoc island.
We have to wait until the remains are investigated on the bottom of the shallow (30-50m) sea.

Latest update...
1) No wreckage had been found yet...
2) 2 trail of fuel had been spotted on vietnam sea...
3) Vietnam navy is moving to the fuel site for searching...
4) Air search called off... Sea search continues...

They are also saying one of the passengers was travelling on a stolen passport of an Italian Citizen. It's true, the passport was stolen a couple of months ago. This italian guy got the news while in thailand now, has phoned home and local authorities reporting he is safe and sound.. weird story! |
