We had a similar event in early 2014 when the FAL was upgrading from 1 to 2 frames per month. MSN7 was loaded into FAL in early February while the next A350 was not loaded until the end of April. I suppose Airbus is now working towards 3 frames per month and the FAL needs a bit preparation. With the arrival of MSN19 in the coming days, I'm thinking the FAL upgrade has been completed.

Please can you tell me the function from station C63, C64,C65 and L70? The L70 building is located at the A380 site, it is the hangar in front of the body join tool. Some believe it was once meant to become a second A380 body join hangar when production would peak 40 jets per year, but that never happened. Airbus is currently using this spare hangar to perform upstream work on the A350. It has room for two A350 jets. This photo shows the empty L70 hangar before it was used for the A350s: www.airbus.com/fileadmin/media_gallery/photogallery/big/800x600_1418932140_A380_Etihad_-_Final_assembly_line_2.jpg

I'm not sure if I understand now, A350-MSN11 and 12 already went to L70 and left it after one month?..... Now in L70 should only be A350-MSN13 since 20/11, almost ready to go out of it?....

My apologies for copying and pasting my plea here but hit was lost in the VN2 folder I feel although I know XWB is considering using an easy system for describing which plane is having 'what' done to it, rather than 'where'. P18 is the outdoor location for ground tests. Latest from AB re Finnish A350 includes these stages (paraphrased): fuselage joining wings, cabin installation, & power-on (1 station) system tests cabin completion painting engine installation Is this helpful / instructive to the members?
