In 2016, certainly, but the A350 will be leading in 2017. I am not so sure about the A350 leading the A330 for deliveries in 2017. The A330 is a very mature product, AB could easily increase the A330 production rate by 1 per month and have it in place very quickly ! We will have to re visit these posts at the end of 2017 to see who was right We love to speculate but only Airbus insiders really know the truth. The quarterly figures from Spirit are an excellent indicator of future production and delivery rates. Based on Airbus public statements they should be delivering 60-70 A330s in 2017. I think they would be very disappointed if they couldn't deliver more A350s than that. Cheers Geoff

Is your 60-70 deliveries in 2017 re A330 or A350 or both putting them level ish ?

Geoff Your ramp up spreadsheet shows very well that AB are not getting the A350s thru FAL quickly enough even now, and then add on the delays with interiors etc etc we have frames that entered FAL nearly a year ago not delivered yet. Even MSN 27 will struggle to get under 300 days from FAL entry to delivery

I don't understand the above comments. Bregier has unambiguously stated that he would be very disappointed if 2016 deliveries did not amount to at least 50, vs 14 in 2015 (this in spite of the Zodiac 'issues').
As Airbus keeps ramping up fast, we should expect more than 80 A350 deliveries in 2017.

Geoff Loading to FAL at 7 per month is due end of 2016, so delivering at 7 per month won't be until July / Aug 2017 ish at best ! But they might get 80 deliveries in 2017 if some 2016 frames slip into 2017 !
