It's MSN 42 undergoing rework. No paint, no engines.

I think the ramp up is 'stepped' and only increases to 7/month in 2017 , as far as delveries are concerned. Geoff so delivering at 7 per month won't be until July / Aug 2017 ish at best The higher the production rate the lower the lead time will become. Also there will be no rework anymore from the end of 2016. At 7 per month it should take some 4 months before the higher rate hits the delivery stream. |

Airbus has built three additional A350 assembly stations to ease A35K introduction while ramping-up A359 production. "To ensure the smooth integration of the A350-1000 into the FAL while A350-900 production is ramping-up, Airbus has added three additional final assembly stations. MSN59 is now in P30C, the third fuselage join station. Is that S50c for the the third fuselage join station ? Anyway 3 join stations should mean the -900s can progress without being held up by the new -1000 variant. |
