Airbus are currently constructing two new A350-capable paint hangars. The first one will open later this year, the second one next year. Construction visible in the background: Msn46 F-WZGS 2/5/2016 by A380_TLS_A350, on Flickr

In the past I vaguely remember something about the A350s taking over the A330 paint hangars as the latter winds down production. Or maybe I misinterpreted it.

All of our trusted spreadsheets have been only showing 2 frames in S50 stations, this should not be the case. There are now 4 S50 stations, one is dedicated to -1000 frames. Therefore the third normal one should have been occupied for the last week ? Is MSN 63 not in that station ? No, there are three Station 50s, not four. The third S50 will be used for MSN 71, the third A350-1000 testbed.

Clearly Airbus believes they do not have enough wide body paint hangars. But I believe one of the older paint hangars will be demolished in the nearby future.

These photos show the 2 side of A350 flightline, there is 4 QR at the flight line? MSN21 (came back from delivery center?) + MSN 25, 33 and 36 (new roll out?) For SQ as MSN 31 and 37 (new roll out too, see a380.boards.net/post/72098 ) To Finish there is CX MSN29 an AY MSN28. MSN35 (JJ3) doesn't appear on the photos, maybe it was moved to the delivery center? All this assumption are made on the basis that none aircraft was moved between the 2 photos!

Problem is we don't know how old the above photo is. Perhaps the two SQ A350s are MSN 30 and 31.
