Somehow saddened by the closure of airplaneupload site, I guess it puts to the bin so many hours of work and recognition Linie 9? .......... Yes. That is really sad! About 140 posts (30 still left) with 400+ pics soon showing a question mark. And of course the hits/views - that feedback for me - gone. Oops, I didn't see anything. Thanks to Pithhelmet etc. Maybe I should host the pics by myself. But I have no time to manage that this year. Hmm..

Try google+ it really is not too bad. I do not see any adv on photobucket and you can look at the photo in full resolution or enlarge it even more - impossible on flicker ! That is the main reason I hate flicker. Linie 9 - I am 10000% sure that your super photos will appear somewhere soon ! It would be a shame to let those fall under. I consider you one of the best photographers here on the forum. OK we have Stiflord - but he makes different sort of photos, for me hard to compare - we have others but simply for me you stand out.

What is the reason behind ? Money or labor ? Time and costs of traffic says riffi. The latter is obvious.

Oops, what a praise! Thank you very very much s543. All free services need to earn money. On some you give away your rights on your picture. That's a NoGo for me. I‘m willing to pay, but it'll take time to find the best solution for me. Hints are very welcome.

I do not see any adv on photobucket and you can look at the photo in full resolution or enlarge it even more - impossible on flicker ! That is the main reason I hate flicker. You can enlarge images on flickr to full screen and you can also look at the photos in full resolution and download. But it depends on the photographer whether you are able to do that or not. On flickr you can also see where the photo was taken, if the photo has GPS-coordinates. Additionally after the photographer's approval you can look at every EXIF-info there is. And there is also not nearly as much adverttisment as on photobucket, because I can see a sh** load of advertisment over there.

Well as it is - I know of NO photographer publishing photos via flicker here - where one can look the pictures in full resolution.
Enlighten me how to do it - without subscribing to flicker.

For reasons of demonstration I turned on the ability to download, but I'll turn it off straight afterwards again, because I already had my photos plagiarized before. So here you go:

Fine - now I have got it - the arrow on the right side makes the trick. Dummy me - I could have found it myself. I was clicking right click and various thing but that arrow never made it to me. Thank you. I wonder if I was the only dummy one here. OK now I can live with flicker.

What is the reason behind ? Money or labor ? Time and costs of traffic says riffi. The latter is obvious. Update: riffi's Web Space is nearly filled. No new updates but uploaded pics will stay a while - good for us. My host of our family name domain has an offer. I only use mail redirecting for all family members: firstname@familyname.com - the easiest way to tell someone your mail adress for a first contact. So I think I will host my pics there and pay for it OR I use my NAS and deliver from home. Time will tell
