G-XWBS delivery was BAs last A350-1000 that was on firm order, now only un exercised options left on the books !

And that was BAs last A350-1000 that was on firm order delivered, now only un exercised options left on the books ! I've just wrote on A.net, my money is on Farnborough this year, for some (if not all) 36 A35K options converting to firm orders. The first 18 options already have delivery years of 2026 - 2029 allocated. My guess would be they need to order a batch of A350-900s to replace the 25 year old B777-200s ?

I've just wrote on A.net, my money is on Farnborough this year, for some (if not all) 36 A35K options converting to firm orders. The first 18 options already have delivery years of 2026 - 2029 allocated. My guess would be they need to order a batch of A350-900s to replace the 25 year old B777-200s ? The way that BA has been topping up on 787-10s, I wouldn't be surprised if BA just keeps placing incremental orders for -10s. And stick with -1000s on A350.

The way that BA has been topping up on 787-10s, I wouldn't be surprised if BA just keeps placing incremental orders for -10s. And stick with -1000s on A350. The 787-10 and A350K seem a bit too big of an aircraft to replace the 40+ old B777-200s BA have ?

I thought the 11 B787-10 will replace the 235-seat version 772s, and the 18 777-9 will replace the 332/336-seat version 772s. So the additional A35Ks could replace the rest of 772 fleet (236/272-seat versions) as an upgrade on capacity. A359 could work as well, but I thought BA is only getting A35K - read somewhere on their annual report.
