I've tried both Virgin and Cathay Pacific business herringbone products and didn't like either of them - in the Virgin cabin it was as though there was a sock display. I'd have developed a stiff neck trying to see out of the window - and that's why I had reserved the window seat. Don't the A350's larger windows deserve to be used?!

I see the herringbone interiors not as a service to customers but just a way of getting more seats into first and business classes. And I love the "sock display" remark

Please what? A 1.88 meter bed? Is that a joke? Like seriously I'm not even grown out yet and I'm already taller than that. They could at least put a 9 behind the comma.

Herringbone or not, I still think this would be a welcome change from the current CW seats on BA. 7 across on a 787 in CW is madness!

BA might introduce a new business class seat for the A350. I think "might" is an important word here. It is after all only a patent application

I would have thought it is time for a new CW product. There has been no major refresh since 2006. Furthermore, since BA markets itself as a truly premium airline, they need to do something to close the gap between themselves and the premium products available on other airlines, e.g. the Gulf carriers.

Any indication when BA will be starting to roll the A350 out into the fleet?
