Good to hear that, should be interesting if they do use it to launch new cabin products and layouts. Need it in today's market.

The mentioned article in not too well written - it mixes up IAG and BA and in some moments it is not very clear of which it writes. They mention that they will get rid of 4x A340 until 2020. Well BA has ZERO of those, IB has 18 (1x343 + 17x346) so do we believe there is going to be still 14 A346 after 2020 ?!?!?! I we could consider the last A343 already out. Those A346 are younger but still no too young and all depends on the price of fuel. They could be easily and un-surprisingly ALL out by 2020. Up to that what is a connection to BREXIT in IBERIA operation is not too clear to the dummy reader like myself. Anyway not good news. The question of the possible losses at BA could be this time compensated other-way-round from IB.

IAG is reporting its financial situation, the plan they announced is the group's. Of course, the status of the main unit unsurprisingly weighs heavily on the latter. The only source of confusion I can see is the headline, which cites BA when the article is about the group.

IAG reports in Euros, most of BAs income is in Pounds. the Pound has fallen 20% against the Euro, so Profit in Euros has fallen.

I'm not impressed about keeping the old 747's, thought they were fuel hungry and expensive to maintain? Get the A350 in boys, cheaper to run, only has two engines, I know a guy around the corner who can fix you up half a dozen for a good price.......
