After seeing Air China's 50th A330 on each of the last 3 visits I've had to SYD airport, I've realised that the airline has been flying their 242t A330-300s between PEK and SYD (FR24 shows the route is being operated alternately between B-5977 and B-5978). The route has been previously operated by A332s and 77Ws and the airline's schedule has a flying time of 11hrs 40 minutes (although looking at data from flightaware, most flights in the past week complete the flight in less than 11hrs 15 mins). This got me thinking, what is the longest route currently flown by the -300? And since posts looks better with pictures , Air China A330-300 B-5977 '50th A330 for Air China' SYD DEC 15 by JKKW, on Flickr Air China A330-300 B-5977 50th A330 for Air China SYD DEC15 by JKKW, on Flickr

Flightglobal shows the rejected take off to have terminated quite a long way after the runway end in the School of Veterinary Medicine!
