Another great success for the A330 ! 2013 sales had been sluggish so far. This is welcome news. That amazing program does not want to die, in spite of attacks from younger competitors !

Will there be any way to identify from its designator if the A330 is a 242t version, like of today where we have the E and X on some models, or do you just have to know?

Airbud has started assembly on MSN1627, which is the first 242t 330-300, going to Delta
Is this built ahead of sequence? It should be a while untill the MSN's in these range usually should have started assembly? Is this a certain, but small, level of testing needed as this is a first aircraft with improved MTOW?
