A quote from that article (last line): Missing something here? The A340 is still offered for sale but AB clearly does not expect to sell it anymore. Airbus officially terminated the A340 program a while a go, cant remember when

Airbud has started assembly on MSN1627, which is the first 242t 330-300, going to Delta The tail fin says MSN1628, seems that something has changed and the ATDB has not been updated yet (unless Delta takes 1 non-242t A330).

Airbus offering aircraft today on it's website That's just a website for the general public, don't take it too seriously.

First 242t A330 has entered the FAL /photo/1 The A332 is a 15 hour aircraft! Wow! That's like on the upper end of long haul. On the other hand, I would really like to know how they got 6% better total operating costs vs. the 787-9... They're just (quite) slow in updating their website Actually, it's just that they're pretty inconsistent. I've been following their site for the past few years and noted additions/deletions from their front page offerings graphic. There was a time when it just featured just the three largest variants of the A340 (no A342). Then, there was actually a time when the A340 line up was completely removed. Now, they have all of the variants back now. I just wondered...does Airbus have any used A340s in their inventory now? Maybe they're trying to sell those?
