this concept by TU Delft sure looks interesting (or to be blunt, weird): link

Sad to see, but apparently even after 4 months in service, this aircraft still is only operating short flights... link

Norwegian seems to have unexpected problems stemming from the fact that JFK can't accomodate too many A380 aircraft at a time:

I don't think so, at least Toronto still isn't (and never was, afaik) daily.

. . . as to my understanding only the truck towing the aircraft caught fire, not the aircraft itself) Not so. Aircraft skin on the left completely burned away. EDIT: Picture on this page (scroll down) ups, looks really bad... I have no idea how things like this "work", but is it possible that the aircraft skin just kind of melted away due to the heat of the fire underneath without actually catching fire itself?

Some more Pictures here (though the Headline is misleading, as to my understanding only the truck towing the aircraft caught fire, not the aircraft itself)

Just noticed that the link "A380-Flights" in the forum's header section doesn't lead to the site it used to anymore. The current link doesn't really make sense to be presented in such a prominent place. Does anyone know of a site providing similar data/information? I like this one: www.iflya380.com/a380-destinations.html cheers TP Sorry for being persistent (perhaps I wasn't distinct enough before), but may I suggest to replace the link "A380-Flights" with the one mentioned by tomparis1 ? The current link doesn't live up to its title (like not at all) as the original website seems to have been shut down and just being picked up by someone else who might generate some revenue through it.

For whatever it's worth, I saw this in his signature for airliners.net. It can be interpreted in so many different ways, but I ultimately fear the worst. Don't know if that helps making sense of it, but that's a qoute from the 1994 movie Star Trek Generations where Captains Kirk and Picard meet.
