Won't it always be some frames that requires some sort of rework? From my understanding even the 737 and 32x lines sees this? Yes, zero rework seems to be exceptional, but the difference is in the amount of rework. Airbus gave us no clue, but I remember Boeing stating one or two years ago that the number of tasks to be performed on a newly rolled-out 787 had decreased from over 6000 to a few hundred ... We would like to know comparable A350 numbers, but we don't. Observation of the FAL and checking time intervals between production/test stages are our usual sources of information.

I assume the rework amount is far less than 787's..

They already have 12 on order + 2 to be leased. Additional deliveries would happen much later, nothing to do with TAP's former slots.

From text in ch-avation : "The first of the jets is due to arrive in May next year with the rest to see expedited delivery between 2016/17 though this is dependent on the outcome of talks with European manufacturer". They want all deliveries (14) to the end of 2017. TAP first slots was in 2017.

I think I remember Ethiopian's first A350s will be the two they intend to lease. I don't know the rest of the delivery schedule, but I doubt they can have twelve birds delivered in 2016/17, since all customers want their planes early and Airbus is still ramping up.
Let's see when they order more aircraft. That's when they will get slots ...

So ten frames in 2017 is very very unlikely.

Just a few comments.
I would say now in Station 50/59 it should be loading up atleast 4 frames per month considering they expected to be at 5 frames per month by January 2016.
Also just China airlines again said they would have 4 frames delivered in 2016. And yet I see only 3 frames for them up to MSN80. Any ideas about that one?
