A very interesting comparison table of the 'efficiency' of the A350-900 with the 787-9 here - if true! It would be an astonishing 9,76% per passenger in common realistic configuration. Even the absolute numbers are amazing considering the weight - 9,89% bigger versus 1,49% lower consumption. i.e. the consumption per kg of weight is unbelievable 11,38% better ! Is it possible ? If this numbers, a big if, are right, than it could explain why EK is waiting with the decision for the 70 regional frames. A 350-900 having a lower trip fuel burn than a 787-9 should have a significant lower trip fuel burn than the 787-10.

More problems for the A350 ?
Airworthiness Directive for A350: failures on inboard aileron EHAs.
The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is giving operators of the Airbus A350 until 11/Jan to begin daily post-flight checks of the aircraft’s 2 inboard ailerons to verify that the electro-hydrostatic actuators (EHAs) that drive the roll-control surfaces are working properly.

This kind of problems is typical of a new design. Actually, not much of a problem !

More problems for the A350 ? What do you mean 'more problems', what other problems are there?.... Sorry, probably not quite the right words to use ! May be issues would have been better ? I meant the seat supply issue and now the toilet supply issues hampering production ? And now this.

Aircraft like the A320, A330, 737, 777 etc have hundreds of AD's. That's actually pretty common in the aviation industry.
