Sorry for my persistence, as I already asked about this in the thread Airbus A350 - General Discussion (2014) :
Does anyone know how the mentioned flight hours from the nearest diversion airport are actually determined as the calculation has to take into account that the aircraft would run on just one engine? How fast would "single engined speed" be compared to regular (i.e. double engined) speed?

Quote from the linked article: "The only places where an airliner’s certified capacity to fly at single engined speed for up to seven hours to an emergency landing strip would matter are found are along the possible near or trans Antarctica routes...."
Does anyone know how fast "single engined speed" would be compared to regular (i.e. double engined) speed?

This aircraft slightly changed its route, definitely no longer directly to DXB, flying relatively low for quite some time
here's why:

btw LH also recently dropped the A380 from their service to NRT (which was their first regularly scheduled A380 destination ever, afaik)

So probably no bug on part of fr24, just two flights with identical callsigns at the same time. I should have noticed when I posted the screenshot.

fr24 says it's an A340-311 ("Prototype 340-3") with the Reg. F-WWAI. Is that some kind of bug? And why did it start from LYS?

So much movements today, isn't bank holiday in france or germany as it is in italy today? In Germany, there is a public holiday on Nov. 1 (All Saint's Day) only in the predominantly catholic states (e.g. Bavaria). Airbus production sites (at least all major ones) are located in states that don't have a holiday today.

No. 34 will be Mauritius, starting Oct. 16 by EK, followed by Lufthansa's return to MIA, starting Oct. 27 (No. 35 then). Next in line should be Barcelona from 02/2014. Or did I miss another one? BTW, are there any airports besides Montreal which HAD regular A380 service only to have it discontinued (YUL was served by AF for several months in 2011)? So there are right now 33, MIA-LH on27Oct indeed will be 33 (because LH drops SFO on 26Oct), KIX-TG on01Dec will be 34, MRU-EK on16Dec indeed will be 35, BCN-EK on01Feb indeed will be 35 (because AF drops IAD on13Jan), and IAD-AF will be back as 36 on15Feb lol... quite confusing isn't.. Fabien Well, obviously I missed out on several aspects, most of which I can track back. What I totally missed is the fact that SIA doesn't fly the A380 to SFO via HKG anymore. Seems that this page isn't completely up to date as well...
