Oh well. I will have to talk to myself. Vx is caught in a bit of a quandary because they stalled fleet expansion plans before they got gates at US hubs fortuitously because of AA's merger with US Air. They can develop a mini hub at Love field Dallas but they lack the frames to truly capitalise. They are an Airbus exclusive customer. I hope that continues.

Why couldn't they (finally) make an order??... Maybe as the world economy improves confidence in high ticket purchases will increase. The A380 kinda arrived on the market at the wrong time and as we all know was blighted with naive in house development mistakes. It is good to see Airbus has learnt from previous mistakes in the current A350 programme

The GE90 is such a gorgeous beast. The largest and greatest engine on the planet on its own is probably bigger than my humble abode, let alone the circumference of the 737! I got a bit lost on the thread history in my last post. Just a little bit out of date, sorry. I guess that I just wanted to sing the praises of Ge90 and didn't look at dates of the postings on the thread.

Turkish Airlines is a definite candidate. Fits in with their rapid expansive strategy. Looks like they really want to challenge EK - EY - QR (if this comes true.....) Your'e quite right. Turkish Airlines has a unique opportunity to compete being on the cusp of Europe and Asia. Their sponsorship of Manchester Utd shows their global aspirations.

Fabien You mentioned in the convoy thread that MSN 192 was a candidate for convoy dated 30/05. Have the parts been built for this frame or were you being a bit cheeky? I think you are right trumpton, none part built was reported yet, and the MSN seem to be a little far from current ones indeed, I guess when I post the possibilities it's more showing "next MSN per airline" even if the list is a little stretched with far-forthcoming MSNs...... Oh well thought it was too good to be true
