The wording of the release seems to imply that Airbus received 36 new orders.
"easyJet has signed a firm order for a further 36 A320 Family aircraft taking its cumulative order for the type to 451".

More information from Flight Global re easy jets order. Quote- EasyJet say the aircraft will be delivered between 2018 and 2021. They will all be fitted with the higher-density 186-seat configuration. The carrier is taking another 30 purchase rights on A320neos to replace those being exercised, it states. |

If I count well we are on 139 orders in NOVEMBER.  Only 11 to go to be on 1000. I believe it will be achieved. I do not comprehend the 320/321 ceo/neo transistion. How many ceo slots there is ? This moth there was 15 ceo orders (9x321 VietJet + 6x320 EasyJet). In October xls there is 20x319 + 695x320 + 557x321 = 1272 total planes to deliver. (There are some which will not be delivered for sure but not too many - few "dozens") EDIT - looking at the xls it will be around 100 - only Kingfisher has 67 orders..... 15 orders from November - some cca 40 deliveries this month i.e. from December 1247 ceo planes to deliver in next years. Is there so many slots ? Seems a lot ! I believe we will inevitably see some ceo/neo conversions next year..... |
