Follow operators has been announced: AerCap *Air Caraibes 3 A359 *Cathay Pacific 2 A359 *SriLankan 3 A359 *Azul: 5 A359 *Air Mauritius: 2 A359 *Vietnam Airlines: 2 A359
ALAFCO *Thai 6 A359

It's not always easy to know whether the initial order came from the lessor or from the airline (sale-and-lease-back deals don't always make the news).

Also on page 5 of the 'Q1 2015 AerCap Holdings... Conference Call Transcript' , the CEO of Aercap says that all of their A350s are placed. Also 2 for Ethiopian Airlines. That makes a total of 19. From what I read somewhere (but can't find anymore) the 20th will be the 4th for Srilankan.

Very useful thread. Thanks someone for starting it. It's not always easy to know whether the initial order came from the lessor or from the airline (sale-and-lease-back deals don't always make the news). If the aircraft has been delivered, that information can be easily gleaned from planespotters.net. e.g. www.planespotters.net/Airline/Singapore-Airlines

Sorry Baroque but that is not always the case. Like in your example: All SQ A380's were ordered by SQ. That they are now on lease from Doric has to do with "sale and lease-back". So quite different from ordering parties such as AerCap, ALC etc where delivery from the manufacturer is to the lessor, with immediate lease to the lessee (airline), usually on the very same date.

Ahh, this is a bit of a grey area to me. Do lease corps take delivery of the aircraft configured according to the airline's requirements or do they have a single generic configuration across the entire fleet? And by this I don't mean the seats but stuff like weight variant, equipment and optional accessories. It's hard to believe that their customers in their lease portfolio will all have the same configurations as each other.
