You may well be right, QR may stay with P&W. They threatened to switch to CFM, but they never said they actually had switched. I would not be surprised if their intention was mainly to exert pressure on P&W. Fabien, one-sidedly breaking an engine supply contract would create a legal and financial mess. Is it a safe bet when the alternative supplier is not problem-free, and has no early available slots ? On the other hand, the GTF may turn out to be the better engine ... |

Has the airline officially announced its engine choice, or have we still only speculation that they switched to the LEAP - 1A ?
EDIT : I just saw that the first post still mentions the initial P&W choice. So, I suppose that we don't have any official answer.

It's still a little hard for me to believe, the 2 A319LR they operate do not go "anywhere" close to even at least the range of a regular A319.
