At least the two on the right hand side, engines are not covered. That must be a good sign.

A piece of good news, LN 1437 (Atlas Air NTU) came back to PAE from Pinal Airpark this week.
It will be painted and deliver to UPS later this year.

Any new rumors about 747-9X? Are you making up your own rumours? Try to be a little serious......

Boeing order book has changed, showing an new order of B748i, at the same time one cancellation of B748i.
Rumour on the street is this is not a new frame order, it's for one of the two stored frames originated for Transaero, either LN1519 or LN1523 (I believe it's for the later frame).
We will wait to see which airline is the buyer for this frame.

MSN1437 - the only NTU cargo 748
This bird was out of storage since 7th Feb, and widely reported will be taken by UPS as one of their 14 orders. Sadly after all inspection, UPS has decided not to accept it and went for 14 new build aircraft.
So this plane is likely to return to the desert as home. It was an early built 748, it must have over weight so much, hence nobody wants it.

Rumour is the single unidentified 748 order filed last month, wasn't for one of the Transaero aircraft (my money was on LN1523, damn), and it is for LN1495. Who would expect that to happen!
